  • Appletell reviews Logitech’s diNovo Edge Mac Edition

I’ve been a big fan on Apple keyboards for years, and I’m a huge fan of the newest Apple keyboards because of their key style. Why does Apple hate numbers?

by Adam Fisher-Cox on Mar 3, 2009 at 09:05 PM

As you likely know by now, Apple has quietly changed its wired keyboard so that it no longer includes a number pad. One with a number pad can be swapped out if you buy online. In store, though, is a different story. An Apple representative told me that in store… Continue Reading »

Think it’s time for Apple to update their keyboard design? Here’s a cool idea from a writer at Blosmo.com. Hardcore gift ideas for hardcore Mac gamers

by Kirk Hiner on Dec 22, 2008 at 11:11 PM

The Macintosh is not a gaming machine. I understand that. I’ve been fighting the good fight for over a decade now, but it’s a losing battle. Mac users will never get as many games as PC owners, we’ll never see the innovation, and simultaneous releases continue to elude us even… Continue Reading »

Everyone who was holding their breath for a new Mac Mini, iMac, Mac Pro or Apple TV (myself included), can stop. Bill Evans, an Apple spokesman, killed the rumors, and possibly our hopes and dreams along with them. “Our holiday line-up is set,” Apple spokesman Bill Evans told Macworld. And… Continue Reading »

Appletell review - KeySkin keyboard protector for Apple keyboards and laptops

by Kirk Hiner on Sep 19, 2008 at 09:30 AM

I’m not much a fan of keyboard covers. I mean, I get their importance; I learned that on my first freelance gig for a guy who happened to be a heavy smoker. Although his walls, curtains, computer and desktop had all turned various shades of a sickly yellow color, his… Continue Reading »

by Kirk Hiner on Aug 23, 2008 at 07:12 AM

You know Apple is doing something right when keyboard manufacturers are promoting their products with the phrase, “Inspired by Apple, Captured by i-Rocks.” Such is the case with the KR-6170 X-Slim Keyboard and RF-7550A 2.4GHz Cordless Optical Mouse from i-rocks. Unfortunately, although the designs may have been inspired by Apple,… Continue Reading »

Review: iSkin ProTouch keyboard protector

by Aaron Kraus on Aug 8, 2008 at 09:00 AM

Sleek. Slim. Svelte. Apple’s wireless aluminum keyboard is razor thin, edgy, and perfectly balanced. Any addition to such a perfect package runs a serious risk of ruining this perfect image. It was with a degree of skepticism that I approached the iSkin ProTouch keyboard protectors, with visions of old public-library… Continue Reading »
