Appletell reviews Sonos ZonePlayer S5 with ZoneBridge wireless music system
A nice addition to Sonos’ lineup of speakers and audio streaming devices, the ZonePlayer S5 wireless music system comes in a simple, one unit form factor that can be controlled through a free iPhone application. This device is meant to simply be placed in a room, quickly set up, and then used to stream the user’s audio from its source to that room (or rooms). The best part? That’s exactly what it does.

Appletell reviews Konnet’s iCrado iDevice cradle
What exactly is Konnet’s iCrado? It’s an iPod cradle. Nothing more, nothing less. It holds your iPod and little else. Thankfully, it does this with a touch of style.

Appletell reviews the Expressionist Plus 2.1 speaker system from Altec Lansing
The Expressionist Plus system gets great sound, and they have a decent, albeit uninspired design. Unfortunately, I found the system a bit awkward to set up and use.
Appletell reviews the iPhone compatible Sony Xplod Bluetooth Car Audio System Head Unit
In order to righteously call yourself a geek, you need the appropriate technology in all areas of your life. Up until I received the iPhone compatible Sony Xplod Bluetooth CD System for my car, I was sadly lacking in that area. Now that I’ve had it and have been able… Continue Reading »

Appletell reviews the Eos Wireless iPod Speaker System
Like every single other person on the planet, I’ve got an iPod. I’ve got nearly 4,000 songs on it. I can listen to them anywhere, but what if I’m moving around the house, getting things done? What if multiple people want to hear what I’m playing? Do I have to… Continue Reading »
Appletell reviews iHome iP9 dual alarm clock radio
The iHome iP9 is a dual alarm clock radio and iPod speaker dock unit that does everything you’d expect based on that description. It will play your iPod’s music, the radio and auxiliary audio, and it will do all of this for you in the wee hours of the morning… Continue Reading »
Appletell reviews the Ladybug portable speaker system for dockable iPods
Yes, it’s shiny and spherical and fashionable, but I really just wasn’t expecting Vestalife’s iPod speaker system to sound good at all. Perhaps it was the name: Ladybug. Know what doesn’t make me think of rich, full sound? The ladybug. Or insects in general. Crickets, maybe, or cicada, but even… Continue Reading »

Appletell reviews the Orbit MP3 and Tweakers portable speaker systems
In concept, I’m completely behind portable speakers for your iPod. Music is meant to be shared. That’s pretty much its primary purpose, after all. When I discover a new band, I find myself scheduling long car trips specifically so my wife and I will have the opportunity to sit down… Continue Reading »
